Accounting Studes of SVFC compete with NCR's best schools in UP Diliman

Two (2) 4th year Accounting students of SVFC recently competed in UP Diliman's InterSchool Accounting Quiz last February 2012.

SVFC students were able to beat known schools such as University of the East and University of Caloocan City.

SVFC to open MBA course in the future

According to the founder of SVFC, Dr. Cristeta Evangelio, she plans to open a Master in Business Administration course for Caloocan City residents who wants to pursue higher learning.

SVFC Accounting Students to join various Interschool Accounting Quiz Bee

With the aim of streghtening the SVFC Accountancy Program, Prof. Hector Santos recently assigned all the accounting students of SVFC to join the upcoming Interschool Accounting Quiz in various parts of the metro.

Among these competitions are NCR Cup by NFJPIA, School-sponsored Accounting Quiz such as PSBA's President's Cup etc. and industry-sponsored Quiz such as FINEX JP Morgan Chase Intercollegiate Finance Competition.

Prof. Santos wants all the accounting students of SVFC to be inspired upon joining the said competitions. This will also help them in achieving their goal - to be a CPA in the future.

SVFC Accounting Student with NCR's best

SVFC Accounting student recently participated in the NCR Cup Search for Accounting Wizards last September 2011 held at University of Makati.

3rd year accounting student Alwen Almora placed 15th out of the 31 schools that partake in the said battle of the best accounting students in Metro Manila. Alwen defeated top accounting schools in QC such as NCBA, PSBA etc.

SVFC Accountancy Program made history since this is the first time that SVFC College Department joined in an intercollegiate competition.

Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila won the competition.

SVFC's Accountacy Program is one of the pioneer course offered by the school.

The said program aims to produce future Certified Public Accountant.

With the addition of another topnotch accounting professor, Hector Santos Jr. CPA, SVFC's accountancy program again makes another step to achieve its target of producing CPAs.

Hector Santos Jr. is a former senior associate of SGV and Co., the Philippines no.1 Accounting Firm and now a Finance Manager of one of the top corporation in the Philippines. Mr. Santos is also a CPA Reviewer at University of Makati, a university which boast a 50% CPA passing rate.
